Reading Festival 2025 with NME

We captured all of the video content for NME at Reading Festival 2025, editing on site to provide quick turnarounds for long form and short form content.

We joined the team of NME writers in the press tent at Reading Festival for a long weekend of capturing and editing all the artist interviews as well as producing a video with Reading Festival Organisers to cover the new campsite initiatives. The goal of this project was to provide edited versions of the interviews (as well as social clips) as quickly as possible so viewers could get the Reading experience while it was still happening.

A weekend of interviews, editing and music!

About the Project

This project was all about efficiency and being able to work in an incredibly dynamic environment. While some interviews were booked in ahead of time, people behind the scenes were still working their contacts to pull other artists for interviews, so we would need to be ready to go at a moments notice. We also needed to be flexible with our equipment, as interviews occasionally needed to be carried out in different locations across the other side of the festival site. This meant making sure everything could be carried in a backpack, and was very quick to set up and pack down.

As well as filming and editing interviews, we were asked to create a video with the festival organisers to showcase some of the new initiatives in the campsites to promote sustainability, safety and inclusivity among the festival goers. So in between artist interviews, we had a few excursions out into the festival campgrounds to collect interviews and B-roll of the various talking points. This meant lots of walking, lots of sun, and cleaning dust off our equipment every five minutes. Still, we’d take that over a rainy, mud filled festival any day!

A huge thank you to the Fell Pass team for their amazing work on NME's Reading Festival coverage. They worked incredibly long hours and put in that extra effort on site to make sure everything was filmed, edited and uploaded to a really high standard.
