Exploring the flavours of Snugburys Ice Cream
We captured a handful of new ice cream flavours for Snugburys along with the start of their 40th Anniversary celebrations at their riverside Cafe in Chester

Snugburys have a fun way of displaying their ice cream flavours, a scoop on an antique spoon against a colour background. We were tasked with adding new flavours to their existing collection, while also capturing lifestyle imagery with the three sisters who run the company for its 40th anniversary celebrations. What better way to celebrate than with a big cake, coffee and balloons!

About the Project
Taking over part of the cafe for a few hours, we set up a portable photography studio to capture the different flavours, working quickly to ensure a good shot of the scoops before they started melting! There is a knack to capturing the perfect moment between the ice cream looking ‘too frozen’, and too melted. All the flavours were shot against a white background and edited to make the natural colours pop, while ensuring we were staying true to the way they look in real life.
We then moved on to capturing some photography and video of the anniversary celebrations showing off the handmade three tier Snugbury blue cake before getting messy and digging in. It was important to ensure the content matched the clean and bright Snugburys aesthetic, while getting across the happiness and fun of the three sisters while they enjoyed their celebration.
